Global Incident: Reports Show AI Makes Little Impact to Labour Costs

Studies conducted by economists at the University of Chicago and Copenhagen have shown that the introduction of AI into over 7,000 workplaces in Denmark has made little to no impact in reducing work load for the most automatable roles.
The study of 25,000 workers across 11 roles, including accountants, software developers, and customer support specialists found that the introduction of AI chatbots had made no significant reduction in wages or employment.
Let's look at some facts found by the study:
⌛ Across each business, between 64–90% of users believed the AI had saved them some time.
⌚ However, only 2.8% of weekly work hours were actually saved on average.
(~1 hour/week).
